Competitors at Bill Winfield competition

Congratulations to all those members that passed their kyu gradings on Sunday 6th December, and also to the outstanding success of our under 16s at the Bill Winfield Memorial Children's competition.

After a combined training session and grading hosted by our friends at Bath Shotokan Karate Club, 19 members from Nailsea Karate & Backwell Karate passed their kyu gradings.

As is usual at our final grading of the year the Bill Winfield Children's competition also took place, introducing many children from across the former Avon area to competitive Karate.
