Congratulations to Sam Henley and Dan Salter for successfully passing their gradings today at the University of Bath sports village.

Sam Henley passed his 1st Dan (Shodan) grade and is now able to wear the coveted black belt. Dan Salter passed the rank of 2nd Dan (Nidan) and becomes just the sixth member in the club's history to attain this rank.

We are all hugely proud of your achievements and look forward to seeing you both continuing to develop and flourish at the club.

Incredibly Sam is the eighth club member in a row to take and successfully pass their black belt, which is a fantastic record for the club - especially given the low pass rate at dan gradings. Maybe you can add to this amazing tally? Keep training hard!
